As the founder and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Thunder & Neon Group, Lalith Lokuge is the driving force behind the success of Thunder & Neon Holdings. His entrepreneurial qualities and indelible commitment has brought Thunder & Neon Holdings in the enviable position of the market leader in the signage industry in Sri Lanka.

He counts more than two decades of experience in this field, both locally and internationally. Moreover, he obtained a Certificate of merit from U.S.A with an unmatchable knowledge and experience in the art of Neon bending and bombarding. This knowledge and expertise has made him take the bold step in investing in technologically advanced machinery, high quality raw material, and talented employees by acquiring the enviable position of market leader in this highly competitive field.

He has a thorough understanding of the needs of the Neon sign industry.

As a person who attended international trade exhibitions, he possesses firsthand knowledge of the latest technological development and trends which he intends to introduce to Sri Lanka.

Dayananda Lokuge – Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Mr. Dayananda Lokuge is the invisible arm behind the success of the Thunder & Neon Group, and he endeavors from the inception and is undoubtedly the heart and soul of the production unit of Thunder & Neon Holdings (Pvt.) Ltd. He is responsible for production, engineering and execution of strategic planning.

He takes on any challenge that comes his way and his dedication to meet proper quality standards and fine details, compliments Lalith Lokuge’s quest for excellence.

He has worked exclusively for 2 decades and developed unrivalled search knowledge and a unique perspective on the growth and movement of the Company.

He heads an enthusiastic, efficient and highly motivated work force, fully capable of meeting even the most stringent deadlines from the most demanding clients.

Milinda Lokuge - Director Marketing and IT
 

Milinda has been with the group since 2007. He is involved in making major strategic decisions for the betterment of the Company. He likes to work closely with clients in order to identify their objectives and provide them with most suitable advertising solutions.

Milinda graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Business Administration and he holds the Diploma for Business Management and IT at Asian Pacific Institute of Information Technology, validated by the Staffordshire University, U.K.  After graduating, Milinda started his career as a customer consultant by taking hands-on industry experience from a well renowned British conglomerate.
 

Today, he is responsible for all strategic directions relating to Sales & Marketing and IT infrastructure with a vision of taking the Company to its next dimension.

OTHER DEPARTMENTS

H.R. & Administration Department

The Management has set up H.R. & Administration Department to ensure the maximum utilization of Human Capital with utmost efficiency and effectiveness to accomplish corporate business objectives. The department is currently headed by K. D. L. Wijetunga who has completed his Post Graduate at University of Colombo and serving us since 2007. 

Finance Department

The department is currently headed by C. D. Rajapaksha who has years of experience in the commercial sector. C.D. Rajapaksha has joined us in May 2011,  and is currently serving in the capacity of the Accountant.

Graphic Department

S. Rasanga Rathnayake is currently leading the Graphic Department in the capacity of Senior Graphic Designer. He has served us for over eight years and exerted all physical and mental efforts to improve services of the department.

Sales Department

The Sales Department is currently headed by W. L. Divanka Deshapriya – Assistant Marketing Manager, who is considered as one of the veterans who served in excess for fourteen years in this Group.

Maintenance & Outsourcing Department

The Assistant Manager – Maintenance & Outsourcing, Gamini Ariyawansa is entrusted to safeguard smooth functioning of this department for the last five years.

Factory Operations

T. H. Ajith Pieris who has been with the company for the last fourteen years is in the capacity of Assistant Factory Manager, ensuring all factory operations are taking place efficiently and effectively.
