Thunder & Neon Holdings
initiated its first business in 1991 by establishing as
a designer, manufacturer and Installer of high quality
signage under the name of “Country Signs”. In 1993
“Country Signs” was renamed as “Thunder & Neon” after an
immense investment on state of the art technology by
installing Neon plants and machinery from USA. Thus
Thunder & Neon was established with the Vision of
becoming the market leader in Sri Lankan signage
industry and this was achieved by becoming the number
ONE signage company in Sri Lanka.
With the rapid expansion
within the Signage industry, Thunder & Neon further
expanded into retail operations with an island-wide
branch network by establishing Thunder & Neon Marketing
in the year 2000. In order to provide facilitation to
Sri Lankan media industry, “Thunder Vision” a production
house, was established in 2003. In 2009, Thunder
HealthCare was established by identifying the market
opportunities in pharmaceuticals, neutriceuticals
industry and thus Thunder & Neon Trading was established
as a facilitator to Thunder & Neon Holdings, in the
global business arena. Thunder & Neon entered into
agricultural industry by establishing Agro Lanka Organic
Solutions in 2011 by diversifying the business in the
agricultural sector.
Today, Thunder
& Neon Holdings is a well diversified conglomerate in
Advertising, Agricultural, Health, Industrial and Service
sectors with a Vision of becoming the number ONE
business solution provider in South Asian region with a
global presence and also actively looking to diversify
into untapped local and global business opportunities by
staying true to our companies’ ethics “Lighting Your
